Sinus and Allergies

Scientific research has proven that chiropractic corrective care boosts immunity and reduces allergies in people of all ages.

Here are the facts:

  • 50% reduction in frequency and intensity of all symptoms upon onset of care
  • Reduced symptoms after 3 months of chiropractic corrective care
  • Reduced headaches, vomiting, or nasal drip
  • Improved attitude and appetite
  • Decreased use of medications, (including antibiotics)
  • Reduced frequency of ear infections
  • Clearer/sharper vision
  • Reduced ringing in the ears
  • Improved breathing and sense of smell
  • Increased tolerance of allergens such as pollens, grasses, weeds, etc

People of all ages benefit from chiropractic care because it restores optimal function to the nervous system, allowing the body to heal from the inside out, without drugs or surgeries.

Who do you know that would benefit from a healthy, functioning nervous system?

Additional Educational Information:

Your sinuses consist of eight hollow spaces in the bones of the forehead, cheeks, and temples. Healthy, open sinuses are lined with sticky mucus to ensure that air going into the lungs is moist, warm and free from dust and pollutants. The tissues become full of mucus and drainage is blocked. Increased pressure causes pain, swelling around the eyes, clogged nasal passages, chills, fever, dizziness and loss of appetite.

Since the beneficial effects of chiropractic adjustments on the nervous system are well documented, it’s not surprising many chiropractic patients report a reduction of sinus infections and allergy symptoms when treated regularly for vertebral subluxations.

When this aberrant signal occurs along the same pathway required for the input of normal environmental messages, the body may not interpret the information correctly. When this occurs, an allergic reaction can result.

Many of our patients note significant positive changes in their sinus and allergy symptoms immediately following treatment.
